IntelliSource seeks Network Administrator for our industrial equipment business partner’s corporate office in Broomfield, CO.  The Network Administrator will be responsible for the design, implementation, configuration and maintenance of enterprise network infrastructure, including network service providers, end-user access, troubleshooting and resolving problems within network infrastructure; monitoring performance and system capacity, serving as technical expert to assist end-users with complex computer hardware and software problems; assisting as Tier 3 support, performing disaster recovery implementation, testing & maintenance; and assisting in training team members and end-users on equipment operation and issue resolution.
Network Administrator Overview:
  • Designs, implements and maintains overall health of computer network infrastructure, including network service providers, end-user access, Windows Server administration and support; monitors server/network, network administration, firewalls, routers, switches, VPN, encryption, remote access, authentication, DNS, FTP, anti-virus, voice and data telecommunications, storage area networks, etc.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves problems within computer network infrastructure; designs and implements solutions to ensure maximum performance within budget for employees using the network.
  • Monitors system capacity, using system tools to predict system performance; develops and makes recommendations about replacing hardware or software to meet demands, and increase performance.
  • Operates master consoles to monitor the performance of computer systems and networks, and to coordinate computer network access and use.
  • Acts as technical expert to assist end-users with complex desktop computer hardware and software problems; handles difficult and complex network and desktop computer and software problems that cannot be resolved by other technical support staff.
  • Installs, configures, diagnoses, repairs, upgrades and maintains end-user software and corporate hardware.
  • Monitors Service Level Agreements; ensures appropriate UPS, backup, and other utilities; aides in the development, configuration and testing of business continuity and disaster plans and respond to emergency outages; assists in planning for future computer needs and system/network design.
  • Monitors system performance, for connectivity, job completion, night jobs, and restoring files, etc
  • Provide project management, development and support for Infrastructure related improvements.
  • Must be a self- starter, detail oriented, able to comfortably interact with all levels of the organization, possess excellent communication skills and relationship management with the business customers.  
  • Data driven professional who can build cross-functional relationships to drive strategic discussions and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as backup for daily operations performed by other team members.
  • Provide support and guidance to other IT teammates.
  • Remain current with industry trends and solutions.
  • Ability to learn and utilize Lean Six Sigma to eliminate waste, improve accuracy and build quality into internal processes and external solutions.
  • Attends meetings as required or assigned.
Network Administrator Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Technology or related discipline preferred
  • 5-7 years of experience working with network and systems infrastructure
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) preferred
  • Knowledge of computer programs, including Microsoft Office, Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Project, Supported versions of Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft Windows, Group Policy Manager, Cisco Network Assistant, Terminal emulation software and Helpdesk ticketing systems
  • Knowledge of Voice over IP (VOIP) and Fax over IP (FOIP)
  • Excellent technical knowledge of network servers and hardware
  • Effective interpersonal skills and relationship-building skills

  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Effective ability to triage, troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve software and hardware related issues
