IntelliSource is searching for a Business Continuity Planner to join our community banking partner’s team in Denver. The BCP is responsible for assisting the Business Continuity Planner with the maintenance, strengthening and management of the Bank’s Business Continuity and Vendor Management programs. This role is also responsible for scheduling and documenting annual continuity tests, works with department leaders to create plans specific to their function, and monitors progress of new and annual vendor reviews. You will develop a strong understanding of the banks critical systems, functions and vendors and the requirements for business resumption and continuity.
  • Work closely with department leaders to analyze business needs and to propose, create and maintain an operational continuity plan specific to the business unit
  • Will participate in continuity and resumption tests and manage relationships with technology and operational groups for planning needs
  • Participates in the annual review process of critical vendors, gathering and reviewing required documentation
  • Independently monitors progress of new vendor reviews, gathering all required documentation, forms and approvals
  • Participates in multi-discipline, high-performance work teams/groups, preferably in a leadership capacity
  • Gather and analyze information relevant to continuity of current and new products and services
  • Participate in and/or chair project meetings, documenting issues, action items and able to provide status updates and information on assignments
  • Effectively interact with employees, vendors, contractors, and senior management
  • Provide leadership, management, and strategic support for a variety of large- and small-scale projects
  • Work closely with technology management
  • Maintains current knowledge and consistent compliance with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)
  • Travel to various banking locations and working non-standard hours will be required from time to time
  • Perform other duties as required by supervisor
  • Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college/technical school
  • two years related Banking experience
  • or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience with Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook required. 
  • General understanding of banking products, services, forms, and regulations preferred.
